The ACT Parents Raising Safe Kids Program is a research-based early violence prevention initiative developed by the American Psychological Association. The program is designed to help communities and families to create safe and healthy environments that protect children and youth from violence.

The program achieves its goals by establishing partnerships with community-based organizations, agencies, coalitions, hospitals and by training professionals to disseminate the program curriculum to families of young children.

Local partners in communities all over the country, Puerto Rico, and in Canada are successfully implementing the ACT parent program for families. They can help you be prepared to take the program to your community also.
